Pam: Head Shots, Cottonwood Shores, TX
The air was hot and muggy yet sweet and heady with the fragrance of mint that seemed to envelope every pore of my being. I have never been so refreshed and energized at a session before!
Pam is a precious friend of mine that has created a wonderful Bible study titled, "The Family Business," and will soon be offering it as a book. She needed a portrait for the author page and an image for the back cover as well. What a BLESSING she chose me to do these for her.
We had such a wonderful time visiting, walking along her "beach", looking at rocks and sharing tidbits of our lives. She and her wonderful hubby had just celebrated their 41st anniversary so we DEFINITELY had to grab him for a few shots and I'm so glad we did! They are incredibly fun and so darned cute together :) To enjoy each others company that much, and still after so many years, that's a huge testimony. I asked her what she thinks helped them reach this amazing feat and of course, she gave credit to God right off the bat (41yrs is certainly a miracle in today's world!), but she also firmly believes that having to work together has been the catalyst for their accomplishment.
I told her that quitting working for my husband is how we've managed to get 21yrs under our belts ;)
Peace exudes Pam and her lovely home. I REALLY couldn't leave! I wanted to lay down in that path next to the glorious mint, and just watch the butterflies flit in and out of that glorious dreamy sunlight. All day. And I almost did :)
Thank you Pam. Thank you sooo much for being the catalyst to breath new life into my weary body. And my lens. ♥
