Smithwick Wedding Photographer: Little and Wallis Celebration

It was a glorious day!  A slight breeze filtered through the trees, the sky was a brilliant blue, the air just on the edge of crisp.  God couldn't have granted a better day for such a wonderful celebration.  A celebration of love.  In fact, there was something almost magical about it.

You would probably expect magic to happen when a New Year's baby meets the love of his life at a St. Patrick's Day party, proposes on Christmas Eve and then marries this adorable girl on Valentine's Day. Written in the stars some would say, a celebration to last a lifetime, most assuredly so!

Lindsey has always seemed to have a ton of guy friends so when her friendship with Zach started, it was nothing new to her family.  However... :)  However, Lindsey's sister started to notice there was a LOT of time spent with just "this" friend.  After her family hadn't seen her for a few days and then the TV came up missing in her room, her family started to realize.... there just might be more to this "friendship" then Lindsey was letting on.  It didn't take long for both Lindsey and Zach to realize.... this was it.  He honored her family, asked for her hand (her sister LOVES to brag on the fact that she new Lindsey was getting married before Lindsey did, lol!), proposed and celebration after celebration, here we are.  I can't wait to see what holidays their kids will be born on, they are just that kind of couple :)

Zach and Lindsey you're fantastic!  I was blessed to participate in this most unique wedding and I am so grateful to have been a part of it.  So many vendors made this day, "something out of a fairytale" for Lindsey and Zach, and to be counted among them, is a thrill beyond thrills!

You might have seen their story on the front page of our local newspaper, The Picauyne.  I was ecstatic when Dale Fortenberry of Heart of Texas Ranch and Winery asked me if I'd be interested in donating my services for this military veteran and his bride.  It was an emphatic "YES!" and I'm so glad, because we couldn't have had a more fun and amazing couple to gift it to ♥

Thanks to everyone that made this day possible.  And thank you Lindsey and Zach... for just being you :)

Audrey Anderson Owens of "The Flower House" provided the most gorgeous flowers for our bride and groom!  So unique ♥

What a gorgeous bride!!!!!

There is nothing else that quite measures up to a man in uniform :)

Lindsey and Zach chose to do a "First Look".  Something I HIGHLY recommend for ALL couples!!!!

As you can tell, the "First Look" certainly didn't take anything away from their ceremony experience ♥

Becca of "Becca Schafer Events" catered the affair and made it almost IMPOSSIBLE for me to do my job!  All I wanted to do was run into the kitchen and dive into the amazing dishes she had laid out.... OMGoodness!
The fragrances floating through the air were to DIE for!

Connie and Amanda of "Dessert Divas" did the dessert bar and wedding cake.  SOOO cute!!!!!  LOVED it!

The nummy cupcakes and groom's cake were provided by a family friend.

Dale Fortenberry Jr. of "Heart of Texas Ranch and Winery" was such a gracious and giving host.  The venue has spectacular views and there couldn't have been a more perfect place for such a special day!

"Bernadette" the 1954 Buick Special was provided by Keith Reed of "Remember When" and she's gorgeous!!!

Lindsey and Zach.... make every day a holiday and never stop celebrating the gift God has given you.  Each other ♥
