The Fairy Tale Life

Somewhere in the midst of warlocks, vampires, mermaids, trolls, elves, angels and all things mystical, there is a girl, two girls in fact.  They travel everywhere together, experiencing life in a way that few others have ever dared or even dreamed about.  They have seen both huge battles and love stories unfold.  They have witnessed history being written and rewritten.  The two girls I am referring to?  They are the very best of friends, they are inseparable and they are bibliophiles.  They are... my daughter and her bff, Hallie.

Their latest adventure has been through the "Mortal Instruments" series by Cassandra Clare.  And the word "adventure" is an understatement.  Cassandra's series is based on hidden spiritual battles between demons and Shadowhunters (half angel/half human) that mere mortals (or "mundane's") cannot see.  The story unfolds as a young lady soon discovers that she too is a Shadowhunter and becomes an integral part of the war that has raged around her since the beginning of time.

Clary Fray was Hannah's chosen character for the movie premier and Hallie went as Isabelle Lightwood.  This was one of those moments that you most assuredly want to capture on film, especially if you're a photographer :)
