Sparrow's Heart Photography ~ Spring Workshop 2013

The day started out a little on the gray side... well, downright rainy to be exact.  With a little prayer shot up to Heaven, we decided to move forward with our workshop (it had already been rescheduled once due to weather).  We began just as the rain stopped :)

We had a wonderful time, our models were lovely and the weather turned out to be perfect the entire day!  We even had a glimpse of the golden sun just before it hit the horizon, God is so good :)

Our first lovely model "Becca", holding up our cards for white balance :)
Not only did my sweet ladies learn how to shoot in manual mode...

...they also learned some great tips on how to instruct and pose their model.

One of my attendees was actually a very good friend of "Becca's"!

What's the best way to learn how to smile?  Have a model make you laugh :D

Needless to say, I think everyone had a blast :D

The ladies learned a sweet lesson in this section of our workshop
And we ALL learned how to "wrap someone" around you finger, lol!!!!
(That cup didn't just magically appear in her hand *snicker snicker*)
The beautimous "Brooke" (yah, I think it's fun to give my girls an alias)  holding up the cards
for our second shoot during that gorgeous golden hour (photo taken by Susan Daniel)

Getting some instructions :) (and there's our special little lesson, er I mean "tool" in the bottom rt corner of the frame)

I had a BLAST with ALL of these ladies and honestly, I couldn't get enough :)  "Becca" and "Brooke" will be showing up on this blog again, soon :D

If you're interested in learning more about operating your camera, and some fun tricks that will make your images look sublime in any conditions.... email me about doing a one on one mentoring session!  Not only would you learn a ton, we'd have sooo much fun too!

    1. What fun those two are together! Those are some of my favorites too. I just LOVE capturing people in their natural element. That personality is what I want to see :D
