Horseshoe Bay Wedding Photographer ~ Jennifer & Bill
Our area is considered a destination location for weddings, reunions and the like. Because of that, sometimes I have limited contact and interaction with a bride and groom (other than timelines, etc). Let's face it, you just don't run into them at Walmart or go to Main Street for coffee. Well, even though that's how this wedding started, it didn't stay this way for long. In fact, after being a part of their amazing celebration, I feel like I've known them for years!
Bill and Jennifer share a very special kind of love. It's the kind of love reserved for those that have loved and lost (thinking they will never have this chance again) and it's the kind of love reserved for those that choose to hold out for that perfect spouse (the one that God Himself designed and sent your way). It's the kind of love that enables someone that's allergic to cats, to NOT be allergic to yours ;)
I've had many people ask me how I can keep calm and not blubber during a wedding. This one, I didn't. Keep calm that is. When Bill turned and saw Jennifer during their first look and later when Jennifer broke down while Bill was saying his vows, and then when Bill's son stood up and gave the most beautiful speech of loss, love and the universe getting right again.... I lost it. Completely. Yes, it's a little hard to shoot when you're crying but you push through, wipe the tears quickly, and then lose it again. Just silently instead.
Bill, Jennifer... I'm go glad that you all chose to have your wedding in Horseshoe Bay. I'm beyond thrilled that you chose me to capture this moment in time for you. And I can't tell you how incredibly happy I am for you both that the "universe is right again".
