Twisted Ranch, Bertram Texas Senior ~ Tyler
We all grow up with different dreams. Some of us want to go to the moon, some want to fight fires, some want to be mommies and some want to be chefs. Some just want to create something from nothing and that's where Tyler started. All it took was one episode of Cake Boss and at the tender age of 13, Tyler found his talent and his dream.
This kid has CRAZY talent!!! I mean CRAAAAAZY! I'm floored at what he accomplished at only 15 (check out the GORGEOUS mint colored cake on his page)! The even more amazing thing about him is not his talent, but his heart.
His heart is for missions. His dream, at this moment in time, is to follow wherever God leads. He is currently seeking which mission field he is to go to, saving and waiting on God's direction. I loved what he said when our church was honoring it's high school seniors and it was his turn to share his story... "My plan, for now, is to go on the mission field... after all, isn't that what we're supposed to do? Love others?" How many teens, heck... how many adults have their heads on straight like that?
It was a true delight to hang with Tyler and his parents, see his beautiful work (of which mine can't do it justice!) and capture just a smidge of who he is. OH! And I didn't even mention the fact that his next door neighbor is a stunning wedding venue called Twisted Ranch! Holy cow!!! How cool will that be when one of his cakes graces their "sweets" table?!? It'll happen Tyler, I can pretty much guarantee it! And Tricia, thank you SOOOO much for letting us shoot at your amazing location! I hope to do a wedding there soon!
