College Station, TAMU and Life Changes
Well, this weekend is the start of an entirely new chapter in our lives. Our girl is headed off to the big school, she's gonna be an Aggie! When we first visited the campus during her senior year we were so overwhelmed! Hannah and I knew she wasn't supposed to be there, yet.
She is a super smart cookie and decided to do community college for two years and is now headed to TAMU and I couldn't be more excited for her! Of course, this means we are ALL growing up. That's kinda scary but thrilling at the same time.
I have held my tears in for now but I know that the minute we turn to leave on Sunday, my heart will falter and the waterworks will begin. Until then, we pack (and I give her everything I can find to help in the transition, namely towels, shampoo and a case of ramen). And we pack. And we sit in denial over a cup of tea and then we pack the tea stuff. And we pack some more.
I love and adore you Hannah! I couldn't be MORE proud to have you for my daughter and I couldn't be more proud to call you an Aggie and to be called an Aggie mom! I am so thrilled with your choices. Keep making good ones sweet girl! Jesus will always be there with you (I will be in heart and mind, and soul and spirit...) even when I can't be. Hang in, be strong and courageous, and GIG 'EM!!!!!
