I remember a day where just being able to go out to eat a meal (mind you I'm talking Subway here) was a rarity. My sweet hubby and I have come a long way. We've worked hard and paid off tons of debt. Now, we can occasionally treat ourselves. Yay for groupon, lol! We are still working toward debt freedom but PRAISE the LORD we are getting close!
Well, as an early anniversary gift to each other, we took several days off during the week to spend a little alone time in Wimberley, Texas. Greg and I have been there before but this time was different. This time, I actually got to shop AND buy a few things, lol! We couldn't have picked a more perfect location. I can't wait to come back to
Serenity Farmhouse Inn B&B!
This blog post is a perfect example of why I LOVE photography. Because of the ability to capture a moment in time, I can go back and relive all the joy of being here. The sights, the sounds, the air, the food, the love. It's all there. Anytime I need to go back, anytime <3

Chocolates, wine and lavender bath salts, and handmade rose soap... |

We completely forgot about the pool. We won't forget to bring our suits next time though :) |

Breakfast in the morning... scrumptious scrambled eggs and potatoes under that hen, fresh fruit,
sausage and HUGE muffins. The next morning was just as delish and wonderful! |
 |
After the glorious start to our day, we took some time to wander around Wimberly Square and shop. |
 |
Dinner our second night was at Ino'z. Good fried pickles and burgers,
great view of Cypress Creek. |
 |
Day two started at the Wimberly Glassworks. Sooo cool to see the demonstration.
The heat was worth it :) |
 |
On of my favorite pieces, fire in a paperweight! |
 |
Nope, we didn't come prepared to swim but still had a great time checking it out! |

They even have ropes that you can swing out over the water and drop off of,

Can you see Greg in the very bottom right corner by the base of the tree? Oh ya, they're THAT tall! |
 |
Next stop was to check out Jacob's well. This is the spring that feeds Blue Hole swimming area.
We stood out like sore thumbs, lol! Greg in his nice jeans and shirt and me with my
sandals and cute bag, haha! Oh well, we know what to do when we come back with the kids :D |
 |
My son is TOTALLY gonna wanna do this and I might just have a heart attack if he does! |
 |
Even with the crazy Texas summer heat, it was a wonderful day, rocks, dirt, bugs and all :) |
Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young—
