Sometimes you just gotta stop and.... photograph the chickens ;)

The other evening, that GLORIOUS light was beckoning to me.  There are moments when it filters through the trees, grass (and chicken feathers) where it takes my breath away.  And then, it reminds me how to breathe.

I have realized, that running my own business has it's pluses and minuses.  The biggest minus is that there is ALWAYS something I need to be doing for it.  I feel guilty if I ever post anything OTHER than someone's session.  Like taking time to refresh isn't allowed, or taking time to shoot something I love isn't ok.  When and where do we get such silly notions?

This day, I took the time.  Time to breathe, to see the light, to chase the chickens and take a few photos, for me.  Though these moments are few and far between, I'm so grateful God calls me to come outside to take a moment with Him, and spend a little time in and with His majestic creation.

I never thought about it, but chickens are pretty cool.  Especially during golden hour ;)
