Lago Vista Senior ~ Cheyenne and the Uptown Art House Marble Falls, Texas
Meet my divine appointment 😄 That may sound funny but let me explain... This amazing young lady found me because of a shoot I did for my niece at the Uptown Theater for one of her designer dresses. Cheyenne is a big thespian and will be pursuing the arts in college. One of her dreams is to show kids how great an outlet theatre is and how it can help them grow. She was really hoping to be able to do part of her senior session either in front of the Uptown or even better yet, inside 😀 If not the Uptown, then SOME theatre somewhere.
We were barraged by bad weather, and almost had to cancel. We attempted to gain access to Lago Vista High School PAC, Marble Falls High School PAC, Hill Country Community Theater and each one was a dead end. Luckily her grandparents decided to still drive their classic Ford up from Beaumont on the small chance we would be able to shoot in spite of the weather and no theater.
Against all odds, the weather cooperated, we were able to locate the new owners of the Uptown Art House at the last minute and they graciously opened the doors for us. We had to do her shoot in two smaller sessions but it was SOOO worth it! The theater was AH-MAZING and here comes the even bigger divine part...
Cheyenne, her mom and I had just been discussing how she might even chat with the owners about working at the theater this summer. I had already shared with Jim and Laurie all about this beautiful, bright, fun girl and as soon as she walked in, they all started to visit and before Chey could even get the words out of her mouth, Jim and Laurie asked if she'd be interested in doing a summer camp at the theater for kids!!! DIVINE APPOINTMENT!!!! God is so good and I am so blessed to get to witness how He moves 💓
